What is an air-to-water heat pump?
The Daikin Altherma air-to-water heat pump uses a sustainable and renewable energy source. It extracts free heat from the outside air. In a closed loop containing a refrigerant, a thermodynamic cycle is created through evaporation, condensation, compression and expansion. This thermodynamic process will bring free heat from outside to the inside of your house.
What is condensing boiler technology?
Condensing boiler technology converts waste energy from the fl ue gases into usable heat, virtually without loss. This is good for both the environment and your wallet. Lower energy consumption means lower heating costs, less use of energy resources and a reduction in CO2 emissions. How does it work? Flue gas is cooled, condensing the steam it contains. The energy released in this process is used as heating energy
The ideal combination
Our Daikin Altherma hybrid heat pump combines renewable air-to-water heat pump technology with a gas condensing boiler, to ensure the highest efficiency. Its smart programming helps to save up to 35% more energy than a traditional condensing boiler by automatically determining the most economically and energy efficient combination based on energy prices, outdoor temperatures and indoor heat capacity.

Supported by renewable energy
By extracting energy from the air, our Daikin Altherma hybrid heat pump uses an optimal combination of renewable and traditional energy to heat and provide your home with hot water. When working in heat pump mode, the system is powered by renewable energy extracted from the air and can achieve up to A++ energy efficiency.
Patented condensing technology for heating and hot water
Engineered with our unique dual heat exchanger, the Daikin Altherma hybrid heat pump uses condensing technology to produce heating and domestic hot water 10 to 15% more efficiently than traditional gas condensing boilers.

Easy and affordable installation
Hybrid heat pumps are ideal for renovations and replacing old boilers. The Daikin Altherma hybrid heat pump's compact design requires minimal installation space and integrates seamlessly with your existing piping and radiators. This way, you can enjoy the energy efficiency of a heat pump without having to replace your entire system.
